Earlier we published a post related to the launching of YotaPhone in October, 2015. As we know the device offers two displays.
Today we come with the latest information that the company cut down its initial cost of Rs 23499 ($382) to Rs 12999 ($211).
As we have early stated that the device YotaPhone features two displays including the front LCD display of a 4.3”-inch with the resolutions of 1280x720pixels and another electronic paper display of 4.3” with the resolution of 640 x 480pixels on the back of the device. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8960T chipset with the dual-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor and Adreno 320 GPU, the device also comes with RAM of 2GB, storage capacity of 32GB.
The device also includes a rear camera of 13 MP, front- facing camera of 1 MP and 4G connectivity. The device YotaPhone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and packs a battery of 1800mAh.
There is expectation that the successor of the YotaPhone namely YotaPhone 2 will be available to the American users from March to April, 2015.
There is no exact date of its arrival for Indian users.
