YotaPhone 3 announced with 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED and 5.2-inch e-Ink screens

The Russian smartphone manufacturer Yota has announced a smartphone namely YotaPhone 3 at an event at Russian Embassy in Beijing.

YotaPhone 3 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED multi-touch main display along with a full-touch control on its 5.2-inch HD always-on electronic paper display (EPD) on the other side. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with YOTA OS 3.0.

In the camera sections, the smartphone sports 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and 13MP front-facing camera for selfie and video chat. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal storage and expandable memory with microSD.

Connectivity wise it offers Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, Fingerprint sensor and 3,300mAh battery. It comes with pre-loaded e-book apps for China.

YotaPhone 3comes in Black color and it will be cost around $350 (Rs. 22,530 approx.) for the 64GB version and the 128GB version will cost about $450 (Rs. 28,966 approx.). It will be available for pre-order in China at Jd.com from September 5th and will ship starting from September 18th.  The handset is expected to be available in other markets at the end of this year.
