Last year, Xiaomi announced Mi Pad 2 at an event in China. Now an image of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, successor of last year’s Mi Pad 2 hits the web through some newly uncovered promotional materials which reveals some of it’s key specifications. It is expected that the device will be announced on 30th December, 2016.
The smartphone comes with all-metallic body and will feature a display of 7.9”wih the resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels at pixel density of 326 ppi. It will be powered by 2.6GHz dual-core Intel M3-7Y30 processor (7th gen) processor with Intel HD Graphics 615 and runs on Windows 10.
In the rear side of the device it will have a camera of 16MP with dual-tone LED flash, 1080p video recording and a front-facing camera of 8MP.The device also comes with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage capacity, dimension of 239.5×164.5×6.08mm and weighs 380 grams.
It will also have an Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Connectivity wise, it will feature WiFi 802.11ac (Dual Band), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and it will be powered by 8290mAh battery with fast charging.
The price of the 128GB storage version is 1999 yuan (US$ 288 / Rs. 19540 approx.), while the 256GB version will be available at 2299 yuan (US$ 330 / Rs. 22470 approx.). A magnetic keyboard at the cost of 99 yuan will also be announced on the same occasion.
