Xiaomi announced its latest flagship Mi Note phablet to give a tough competition to its rival Apple iPhone 6 Plus. The announced device Mi Note has the approximately same size as compared to Apple iPhone 6 Plus but the display of the device is bigger than iPhone 6 Plus.
The specification of the Xiaomi Mi Note including a display of 5.7” with the resolution of 1920x1080pixels resolution. The display of the device manufactured by Sharp/JDI, has a 95% NTSC color gamut and 1400:1 contrast ratio with adaptive dynamic contrast. The Mi Note runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with the quad-core processor of 2.5GHz and Adreno 330 GPU, RAM of 3GB and internal capacity of 16GB and 64GB. It also supports dual 4G SIM cards. The dimension of Mi Note is 155.1×77.6×6.95mm and weighs 161g. The Xiaomi Mi Note will run on the new MIUI 6 softwarecome.
The camera section of the Mi Note includes a rear camera of 13MP; Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization. There is also a two-tone flash on the back front –facing camera of 4MP with 2 micron pixel size, similar to the HTC One UltraPixel camera.
The both sides of the Mi Note are metallic while both front and back panel are made up of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The front of the device feature a 2.5D glass with a curve around the edges and the back of the device has 3D glass curve. The phablet includes a Sony/LG Li-ion 3,000mAh battery.
There is also a reading mode feature for the users which reduces the blue light to relief the eye from any strain.
The phablet Xiaomi Mi Note will be available in white and black variants.
The Mi Note will be available at 2299 Chinese Yuan ($371) for the 16GB model and 2799 Chinese Yuan ($451) for the 64GB model.
The pre-orders will be started on 20th January and its shipping will begin on 27th January 27, 2015.
