A new report comes from GizmoChina which declares that the Vivo has added a new smartphone to its y series called Vivo Y79 in China.
The Vivo Y79 features a 5.99-inch FullView HD display comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with an 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It runs on Funtouch OS 3.2, based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
The major highlight of the smartphone is its 24-megapixel moonlight selfie camera with aperture f/2.0, face beauty 7.0, video calling-face beauty mode, group selfies and portrait mode and it has a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF quick focus, aperture f/2.0 and LED flash. It comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card.
Vivo Y79 measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.7 mm and weighs 160 grams. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM and a 3225mAh battery. It comes with face access, which is basically facial recognition and it also features a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. It also comes with Hi-Fi AK4376A chipset for an immersive sound experience.
It comes in Black, Rose Gold, Matte Black and Champagne Gold colour options. The price of Vivo Y79 is 2,498 Yuan which is approximately Rs 24,637 and it will be available for sale from 11 November in China. The pre-orders is already started at Vivo Mall, Vivo’s Official Stores on TMall and JD.com.
