Recently the Pune (India) based Swipe Technologies launched the budget phone Swipe Elite 2, which support 4G connectivity at the cost of Rs. 4,666.
Now it has launched another device namely “Swipe Junior” for kids. During manufacturing the device, the company targeted those children who came in the age group of 5-15 years.
The device is already available at the cost of Rs. 5,999 via different e-commerce website in blue and pink versions .
The phone has the customized UI for the kids. It features geo-tracking and geo-fencing that helps the parents to track child’s movements and also it offers the options for the parents to set safe and danger zone for kids. It has the app management system, which allows the parents to block certain apps or limit the usage time for individual apps. It also features comes an SOS button that can be used for one-touch calling to a pre-defined contact.
The device Swipe Junior sports 4.5” IPS display, 512MB RAM, built-in internal storage capacity of 4GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot.
It is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 2MP with flash and front-facing camera of 0.3MP.
Connectivity wise, the device includes 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.
It is powered by a battery of 1900mAh, which delivers talk time upto 8 hours and also offers talk time upto 120 hours.
It has also taken care of the kids by making it a shock-proof as well as offering a unbreakable casing.
