The Indian smartphone manufacturer Spice launched budget phone Spice Proton 5.
The users can get the device via HomeShop 18 at the cost of Rs. 5,999 in black version.
The device Spice Proton 5 sports HD IPS display of 5” with the resolutions of 720×1280 pixels with a pixel density of 294 ppi and the display is safely protected by DragonTrail Glass protection. It has 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB.
It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device supports dual –SIM dual standby.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, the device includes 2G/3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. But the device lacks 4G-LTE support.
The device equips a battery of 2000mAh battery, which offers the talktime upto 4 hours and standby time upto 8 days.
