Two days ago, a rumor leaked over the web which suggested that Sony Xperia XZ Premium will be launched tomorrow on 15th August or in September. It is noted that the smartphone was already launched in India in June, 2017 and also it is available in the US at $699.99.
The main highlight of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium that it is the world’s first smartphone, which will feature Snapdragon 835 SoC chipset and a 5.5-inch 4K HDR display with Sony’ s TRILUMINOS Display for mobile, X-Reality for mobile and Dynamic Contrast Enhancer.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a 5.5-inch (3840 x 2160 pixels) 4K HDR TRILUMINOS Display with X-Reality, sRGB 138% and both of its front and the rear portion have the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. . It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat).
In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a 19MP rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilizatio, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video and also comes with a 13MP front-facing camera with 1/3″ Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens, 1080p video recording. It equips with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card.
The smartphone measures 156 x 77 x 7.9 mm; and weighs 195 grams. It has Hybrid Dual –SIM functionality, IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C and 3230mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and supports DSEE HX, LDAC, Digital Noise Cancelling.
