Sony Xperia XA1 launched with 23MP camera, Android 7.0

Sony Mobile has finally added a new mid-range smartphone to its Xperia series with the launch of Xperia XA1 smartphone in India. A successor of Xperia XA, it was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona.

Sony Xperia XA1 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD edge-to-edge borderless display with Image Enhance Technology and is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core 64-bit 16nm processor with ARM Mali T880 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).

In the rear side of the device it has a 23MP camera with LED flash, Sony IMX300 Exmos RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Hybrid AF, SteadyShot and in the front side it has an 8MP auto focus Sony IMX219 camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfie.

It sports Dual SIM and comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS), WiFi Miracast, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. The handset measures 145 x 67 x 8 mm and weighs 143 grams and 2300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging, Pump Express Plus which is equips with 2.0 fast charging

The Sony Xperia XA1 will be available in White, Black and Pink colors in India and it costs Rs. 19,990 (MRP Rs. 20,990) and is available across the country.
