Samsung SM-G9298 flip phone spotted at TENAA, comes with 4.2 inch display and 4GB RAM

Recently, a latest flip phone from Samsung with the model number SM-G9298 has been revealed on TENAA, a benchmarking website. It is said that the device will be launched as Samsung W2018. It is noted that last time Samsung had launched Samsung W2017 flip phone in November, 2017 in China.

According to the TENAA listing:

The specifications of the unannounced SM-G9298 and the specs of already launched Samsung W2017 are almost similar. So it is expected that it will be global version of the SM-W2017 as it was launched only in China.

Samsung SM-G9298 features a 4.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) display and is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 821 processor, which is paired with Adreno 308 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under TouchWiz UI.

In the camera sections, it has a 12-megapixel auto-focus rear camera, a LED rear flash light and a 5-megapixel fixed focus front camera. The SM-G9298 comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up to a 256GB.

The handset measures measures 122 × 60.2 × 15.5 mm and weighs around 155 grams. The phone will have Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor.Connectivity wise, it offers dual sim, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB port, and WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and a 2300 mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in Black colour.
