Recently, some images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 along with its S Pen leaked over the web and now the smartphone bearing a model number SM-N950F spotted on Geekbench, which revealed that the device will be equipped with 6GB of RAM, Exynos 8895 chipset and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is also expected that the handset will be available in Europe and other global markets in single-SIM version.
As per the rumored specifications:-
Samsung Galaxy Note8 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio and QHD+ (1440 x 2960) resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset (depending on different regions).
In the camera sections, the smartphone will offer 12 MP rear camera with f/1.6, OIS, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a front-facing camera of 13 MP, f/1.6, dual video call, OIS, Auto HDR for selfie and video chat. It will be equipped with 4GB/6GB RAM. It is expected that the device will come in two storage versions 64GB and 128GB, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Connectivity wise, Samsung Galaxy Note8 will feature a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, A2DP, EDR, LE and a 3300mAh battery. It will also feature improved split-screen multitasking, new S Pen features such as full-sentence language translation and currency conversion and ability to pin handwritten notes to the always-on display.
It will also have DeX support. The fingerprint sensor will be situated to the right of the flash and heart rate sensor. It will be available in Black, Blue and Gold colors. The device will have dual rear camera of 12MP with independent optical image stabilization.
It is expected that Samsung Galaxy Note8 will be announced on 23rd August and will be available in the Korea and the US from 15th September at about 999 Euros (US$ 1118 / 72120 approx.) It will be available in Midnight Black, Deep Blue, Gold and Silver colors.
