Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) received the WiFi Alliance (WFA) certifications

Samsung launched Galaxy C7 last year in June. Now it seems that Samsung is preparing this year version called C7 (2017). Recently the smartphone with model number SM-C7100 has received the Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and now the smartphone has also been certified by the WiFi Alliance (WFA).

Both the listing does not revealed any of the hardware specifications of the smartphone except that it runs Android 7.1 Nougat. But a Twitter user @mmddj_china tweeted, the Galaxy C7 (2017) will be launched with either the Snapdragon 660 SoC or the Snapdragon 630 SoC.

To recall the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy C7: –

The Samsung Galaxy C7 features a 5.7-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

In the camera sections, Samsung Galaxy C7 offers a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone has 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable memory slot.

The handset measures 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm and weighs 165 grams. Connectivity wise, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port and a 3,300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.
