The Japanese smartphone manufacturer Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market called Panasonic P9.
While launching the Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, Pankaj Rana commented, “We at Panasonic believe in great combination of style and design so that it matches the user’s elegance. P9 is equipped with all that you need to capture the world around you flawlessly and keeps everything you love. Targeted towards consumers who are always on the go, look for durability in display screen and want a smooth multitasking experience with the latest Android Nougat 7.0”
Panasonic P9 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Asahi Dragon Trail. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
In the camera sections, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front shooter with f2.4 aperture. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card slot.
The device has sensors like Proximity, Accelerometer & Ambient Light Sensor and it weighs 144 grams. Connectivity wise it features 4G, VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, OTG support and micro USB port and a 2210mAh battery.
The price of the smartphone is Rs 6,490 and is available on all Panasonic brand shops and retail outlets across the country. The handset is available in Champagne Gold and Black colour variants.
