The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is going to launch Oppo F3 Plus smartphone on 23rd March, 2017 across five markets including India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam. Today the smartphone has been revealed on GFXBench website with model name ‘Oppo CPH1613 which revealed some key specifications of the device.
The Oppo F3 Plus will have a 6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 resolution and probably Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be powered by 1.9 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, contradicting earlier leaks which indicated that the phone will run on Android Nougat operating system with Color OS 3.0
The Oppo F3 Plus smartphone will have a 16-megapixel front camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary front camera to achieve the depth of field (Bokeh). However, GFXBench did not provide any information about 8-megapixel secondary rear camera. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel shooter with PDAF on its back panel. Further, the smartphone will have a 120-degree wide angle lens for one of the selfie camera and will have VOOC support as well.
It will come with a 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The company also confirmed that the smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner, which will be integrated into its home button. Besides, the smartphone offers Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, Accelerometer, Digital compass, Gyroscope, Light sensor, Proximity, and Pedometer. It will measure 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm and weigh in at 185 grams and a weighty 4000mAh battery.
