The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is going to launch Oppo F3 Plus smartphone on 23rd March, 2017 across five markets including India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam. Three days ago, the smartphone has been revealed on GFXBench website with model name ‘Oppo CPH1613 which revealed some key specifications of the device. Now, Oppo F3 Plus has been officially launched.
Oppo F3 Plus has a sizable 6” screen on the front with sub-2mm bezels on the side. It’s a 1080p screen guarded by Gorilla Glass 5 and it is powered by a more powerful chipset – a Snapdragon 653 – which features four Cortex-A72 cores (+ four A53), similar to the top dogs (though built on a less efficient 28nm process). The chipset comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage (expandable). Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been painted with Color OS 3.0, Oppo’s latest custom software.
In the front side it has a 16MP main camera (with a regular field of view). It borrows the hardware from the R9s – a 1/2.8” Sony IMX398 sensor behind a bright f/1.7 aperture. There’s Dual Pixel autofocus plus a dual-tone LED flash on board as well and the Oppo F3 Plus doubles the front cameras to get those sweet 120° shots – perfect for capturing all of your friends. The wide-angle selfies you take with an 8MP camera.
The Oppo F3 Plus has a “six string” antenna, meaning it has aesthetically pleasing antenna lines with solid reception and a 4,000mAh capacity promises great battery life while VOOC charge will fill it back up lickety-split.
