OPPO A77 officially launched with 16MP front camera, fingerprint sensor

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in the ‘A series’ in Taiwan. Currently the smartphone has been listed on its Taiwanese website and will be available for pre-order from May 19th and ships later this month.

The Oppo A77 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1280 pixels) display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core 1.5GHz processor. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ColorOS 3.0 operating system.

In the camera sections, the OPPO A77 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing with camera f/2.0 aperture with Beauty 4.0 and Portrait Mode for selfies and video chats.The device is made up of metal and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable with a microSD card.

There’s also a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. Connectivity wise the smartphone will offer hybrid dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, and GPS. It has a thickness of just 7.3mm and weighs 153grams and a 3200mAh battery.

The OPPO A77 will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colors and it costs NT$ 10,990 (US$ 363 / Rs. 23585 approx.)
