OPPO has officially announced a new mid-range smartphone namely the OPPO A57 in China.
The handset features a 5.2-inch LCD screen with 2.5D curved glass and a 720 x 1280 resolution and is powered by Snapdragon 435 chipset carrying an octa-core 1.4 GHz CPU, and the Adreno 505 GPU. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow underneath Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0.
In the rear side of the device it has a 16 MP unit with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12nm pixels, phase detection autofocus, and a LED flash, while taking care of selfies is a 13 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.The device comes with 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.
The smartphone is made up in a gold or rose gold all-metal casing. The A57 has LTE support and a 2,900 mAh battery. Its dimensions are 149.1 x 72.9 x 7.65 mm, and it weighs 147g.
It will become available in China on December 12 for CNY 1,599, which is equivalent to $231 or €218. At the moment the company does not declare the global rollout of the smartphone.
