HMD Global after it was granted exclusive global license to sell Nokia phones, it announced its latest smartphone Nokia 6 at the cost of 1699 yuan (US$ 245) and it will be available from 19th January, 2017. Now, a new rumor hits the web which revealed that the company is going to launch a flagship device Nokia 8 code named Supreme in two versions at the MWC event which will be held on 26th February, 2017.
One version will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and a 24-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) along with EIS 3.0 and on the other hand the second version will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB RAM while the other version would come with a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM and an unkown rear camera.
The Nokia 8 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD 518ppi Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It will be powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU / Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It will also feature dual front facing speakers for better audio experience.
In the rear side of the device it will have a 24MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, EIS 3.0, 4K Video recording and a front-facing camera of 12MP. The device will also have 6GB / 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. Connectivity wise, it will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 LE.
