Moto Z2 clears GFX Bench with 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835

Since a long time leaks and rumors are coming continuously related to Motorola’s upcoming smartphone called Moto Z2. Recently the Moto Z2 surfaced on Geekbench which confirms some of its technical specifications such as Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 4GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). Now, the smartphone has been spotted on GFX Benchmark listing that reveals more of its specifications.

According to the GFX Benchmark listing: –

Moto Z2 will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and will be powered by the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz along with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone will run on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

In the camera sections the smartphone will have a 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, face detection and flash. The rear camera will sport 4K recording as well. Interestingly, the smartphone is reported to sport a dual-camera setup at the rear panel. For the front, there will be a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

Moto Z2 will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable memory with microSD. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. Coming to the sensors, Moto Z2 will include Accelerometer, Barometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Fingerprint sensor, Light sensor, Pedometer, and Proximity sensor.

It was expected that Moto Z2 series will be unveiled on27th June that did not happen. So now it is expected that the phone will be launched very soon.
