After the announcement of Moto X Force, now it is expected that it will be launched in Indian market on 2nd February, 2016. Since, this is confirmed by the latest teaser posted by the Motorola’s India Twitter account.
The teaser includes a video which advertises the upcoming Moto X Force as the world’s first smartphone to come with a shatterproof display, also claimed by the company.
The upcoming device Moto X Force sports 5.4” Quad HD shatterproof display with the resolutions of 1440×2560 pixels, 3GB RAM, it comes in two storage variants 32GB/64GB with microSD card slot for expansion up to 2TB.
It is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in coming months.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 21MP with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual LED flash and front –facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, the device supports 4G-LTE (Cat 4), Wi-Fi with MIMO, infrared, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
It is powered by a battery of 3760mAh and also supports Quick Charging. It weighs 169 grams and has the thickness of 7.6mm.
The shatterproof display panel is based on it’s own ShatterShield technology.
It will be available in only black ballistic nylon touch with nano-coating to prevent it from water splash.
