Micromax Bharat 5 launched in India with 5000mAh battery, Android Nougat

Today, the Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has added one more smartphone to its Bharat series called Micromax Bharat 5 in India. The company has already launched the Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 in September this year.

Micromax Bharat 5 features a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 400 nits brightness. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1.

In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a 5-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras with LED flash with aperture f/2.2 and autofocus. It comes with a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Further, the storage can be further expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card slot.

The Bharat 5 features smart key, which basically allows users to take screenshots, click pictures etc and it supports 22 Indian languages. Connectivity wise the Bharat 5 supports 4G VoLTE, OTG support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB port and a 5000mAh non-removable battery, which the company claims can give a talk-time of 27 hours and 500 hours of standby time.

The Bharat 5 comes in Black colour and it costs Rs 5,555.  It will be available at offline stores starting from December 7, 2017.
