Meizu A5 launched with 4G VoLTE, octa-core CPU

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has launched a completely new “A” series smartphone called Meizu A5.

Meizu A5 features a 5-inch 720p HD display with pixel density of 294 PPI and is powered by a Quad-core 64-bit 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It runs on Unspecified Android version with Flyme OS.

The smartphone measures 144 x 70.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 140 grams. In the camera sections, it has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens, Continuous shooting, Panorama and Dual tone Dual LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera with F/2.2 aperture ArcSoft Smart Beauty Algorithm and Face AE Face Exposure enhancements.

It also comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.Connectivity wise it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1 BLE, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio jack and 3060mAh battery. It has array of sensors like Gravity, Gyroscope, Ambient light, Proximity e-Compass etc.

The Meizu A5 comes in Black, Silver and Gold color options and it costs CNY 699 (US$ 105 approx.) The handset is already up for sale in China.
