A new rugged smartphone from the South Korean giant LG namely LG X4+ launched in its home country. LG X4+ is certified in six categories such as impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity. It has passed 14 different MIL-STD 810G tests designed for the U.S. military.
LG X4+ features a 5.3-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
The smartphone measures 148.6 × 75.1 × 8.6mm and weighs 172.3 grams. Connectivity wise LG X4+ offers dual sim, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC, Wi-Fi and a 3000mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the device. Furthermore, it also supports LG Pay – the company mobile payment service.
LG X4+ will be available for purchase at all three major carriers in the country and it comes in blue and lavender violet colours options. The price of LG X4+ is 300,000 won, $280 which is approximately Rs 17,834.
