LG Stylo 3 Plus launched with Android 7.0 Nougat, fingerprint sensor

LG has added a new mid-range smartphone in the Stylo series called LG Stylo 3 Plus in the US.

The LG Stylo 3 Plus features a 5.7-inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone comes bundled with a metallic textured stylus, called Pen Pop 2.0.

In the camera sections, the Stylo 3 Plus features a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video chats. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and 3,080mAh battery with fast charging support and claims to offer up to 14 hours talk time with up to 19 days standby time.

The smartphone also houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. Connectivity wise, the smartphone offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and a MicroUSB port. The handset measures 6.13 x 3.14 x 0.29 inches and weighs 5.29 ounces.

It is currently available in the US for purchase through T-Mobile at $9 upfront and $9 per month for 24 months on an equipment instalment plan or one can also pay $225 (approximately Rs 14,600) without a contract. The smartphone will also be available at MetroPCS stores in the month of June.

At the moment we don’t have any information if the smartphone will be launched in markets other than the US.
