LG K8 arrived in India at Rs 9,999

In the beginning of this year, South Korean tech titan, LG has launched two budget friendly smartphone under its K- series smartphone called K8 and K5. Now, according to the Mahesh Telecom, a Mumbai based retailer, the company has launched LG K8 in India.

LG K8 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) In-cell Touch IPS display featuring 2.5D glass coating and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 processor. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It equips with 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot as well.

The smartphone measures 144.5 x 72.1 x 8mm and weighs 144 grams. Connectivity wise, the LG K8 also offers 4G/3G,  WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, micro USB 2.0 port, and a 2,500 mAh battery. The device also features a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The LG K8 2017 comes in Blue and Gold colors and it costs at an MRP of Rs. 11,000, but it is available at an MOP of Rs. 9999 from retail stores.
