Lenovo P2 with 5100 mAh battery will be launched in India today


Recently, the Indian subsidiary of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo has been teasing on its official twitter that it is going to launch P2, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘P Series’ in India. It was already introduced at the IFA 2016 in September and is already selling in China for 2,499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 25,000 in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey colour variants.

Today, Lenovo will unveil the smartphone via its Facebook Page and YouTube Channel today at 12.30 PM and the smartphone has also been listed by Flipkart on its site with the unveiling date. So it is expected that the Lenovo P 2 smartphone will be launched exclusively on Flipkart.

The Lenvo P2 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) AMOLED display with 401ppi as pixel density. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It also supports Fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 153 x 76 x 8.2mm and weighs 179 grams.

In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP. The device has 3GB / 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB and 128 GB expandable memory via a micro SD card in India. Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and a massive non-removable 5,100 mAh Li-ion battery with support for 24W quick charge.
