The Indian smartphone company Intex has launched a new smartphone under a new series called Intex Elyt-e1 that supports 4G VoLTE and it costs Rs. 6,999. The device will be available to buy at many retail stores across the country.
The Intex Elyt-e1 features a 5-inch HD IPS (720 x 1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8916 processor, Adreno 306 @400MHz GPU and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Intex ELYT-e1 runs dual-SIM slots (Micro + Micro) and comes with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It offers 16GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via microSD card slot (up to 128GB). It also sports a brushed metal finish with a fingerprint sensor at the back, right underneath the square-shaped camera sensor. The smartphone houses the volume and power buttons on the right edge, while the front houses capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom chin.
In the rear side of the device it has an 8-megapixel and selfie camera both with LED flash for better low light photo and video recording. The Intex ELYT-e1 packs a 2200mAh battery that claims to last up to 220 hours of standby time and 5.5 hours of talk time.
Connectivity wise it offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0, Gravity sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and preloaded apps like Intex My Wallet, LFTY, GamePlay, Game Store and Vdio Play. The handset measures 142.4 x 71.5 x 8.7mm and weighs 145 grams. The smartphone is only available in Champagne colour variant.
