Intex Aqua Lions 2 launched in India with 4G VoLTE support

The Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex has launched a new smartphone to its Aqua series called Aqua Lions 2 in India.

While launching the smartphone, Nidhi Markanday, Director and Business Head, Intex Technologies, said, “With Aqua Lions 2, we have added a valuable product to our portfolio that sports a sleek and stylish design. We are constantly working towards creating an industry benchmark in terms of affordable phones with high-end features and this smartphone promises to deliver the best with looks, features and price.”

Aqua Lions 2 features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and is powered by a 32-bit quad-core processor, though the company has not specified the model. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

In the camera sections, the smartphone offers 5-megapixel rear and front cameras. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card slot. It also comes loaded with various apps likes Tap n Buy for shopping, Xender for transferring contacts, photos, SMS, files and more; and Amazon Prime Videos for streaming and downloading popular movies and TV shows.

Connectivity wise the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and a 2400mAh Li-ion battery.

Aqua Lions 2 comes in Champagne Gold and Black colour options and it costs Rs 4,599.  It is available from select retail stores in the country.
