HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone maker has launched the Desire 650 a new entry level phone of its desire series in Taiwan.

The HTC Desire 650 comes with a 5” 720p screen and is powered by an unspecified quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is 16GB, expandable to 2TB through an external card.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC’s custom Sense skin. The Desire 650 has a ‘sculpted grip’ design on the lower half of the phone. These ridges will, supposedly, help you better grip the handset.
In the camera section, the HTC Desire 650 offers a 13MP camera (f/2.2) on the back and 5MP one (f/2.8) on the front. Both shoot 1080p video and support HDR. The smartphone is claimed to have the BoomSound audio and Hi-Res audio certification.
It is an LTE-enabled phone powered by a 2,200mAh battery, which promises to last 17 and a half hours of talk time and 5 and a half hours of browsing on Wi-Fi. The price of the Desire 650 is TWD 5,490 or INR 12,000.
