Huawei has announced Honor V8, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the honor series last year in May. Now, it announced that it is going unveil the successor of Honor V8 namely Honor V9 at an event in Beijing on February 21st. It is noted that recently the smartphone was already certified by TENAA which confirms almost all the technical specifications.

Honor V9 features 5.7-inch (2560 × 1440 pixels) Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor with Mali G71 Octa-Core GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0.
In the rear side of the device it has 12MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF and in the front side of the device it has an 8MP camera for selfie. It has also 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. The device also features Fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor.
The smartphone measures 157×77.5×6.97mm and weight: 184g. Connectivity wise it features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3,900mAh battery with fast charging.
It is expected that the Honor V9 will arrive in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold colors options and it cost 2299 yuan (US$ 334 / Rs. 22425 approx.).
