Honor 8 Pro launched in India with dual-camera setup, 6GB RAM at Rs 29,999

Honor the sub-brand of Huawei has launched its flagship device called Honor 8 Pro in India

Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 515ppi and is powered by company’s in-house Kirin 960 octa-core processor. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

In the camera sections, Honor 8 Pro has dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, one with monochrome and other with color sensor to capture crisper, more detailed photos. The smartphone also supports 4K recording at 30 frames per second and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes boasts a metal unibody design and equips with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The Honor 8 Pro measures 157 x 77.50 x 6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams. Connectivity wise, the smartphone support 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM, infrared sensor and a 4000mAh battery.

The Honor 8 Pro comes in Navy Blue and Midnight Black color options. The price of the device is Rs 29,999 and it will be exclusively available from Amazon starting July 10th at 6PM for Prime users during Prime Day sale along with HDFC cash back offer. Open sale on Amazon will begin July 13th. It also comes with 45GB free data for Vodafone customers for 5 months.
