Honor 7X launched in China with dual rear camera setup

Honor, the Huawei’s sub-brand launched a new smartphone called Honor 7X in China.

Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 2.36GHz octa-core processor, along with Mali T830-MP2.  The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 5.1 (EMUI) user interface.

In the camera sections, the Honor 7X offers a dual rear camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. In its front lies an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.  It also has an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner is also on its back panel just below the camera setup.

The smartphone comes in three variants- one with 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, another with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and third one has 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up-to a 256 GB micro SD card in its expandable storage slot.

The handset measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs around 165 grams. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a 3340 mAh non-removable battery is inside the phone with fast charging technology which claims to offer up to 21 hours of talk time.

The price of 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage variant is 1299 Yuan and the price of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is 1699 Yuan, while the third one 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and costs 1999 Yuan.

Honor 7X comes in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Platinum Gold colors options. It will be available from October 17.
