Today, a new budget smartphone from Huawei’s Honor brand called Honor 6A launched in its home market of China.
Honor 6A features a 5-inch display that has HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and it will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1.
In the camera sections, the Honor 6A equips with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The phone will also have an option to expand the storage upto 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel.The handset measures 143.7 × 70.95 × 8.2 mm and weighs around 143 grams. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers Hybrid dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS with A-Glonass, a micro USB port, Gravity sensor, accelerometer, distance sensor, light sensor and a 3020mAh battery which offers 19 hours of talk time and 363 hours of standby time.
The smartphone will be available in two variants -2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which is priced at 799 Yuan or approximately Rs 7,511 and 999 Yuan or approximately Rs 9,394 respectively.
The Honor 6A will be available in Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink colours and will go on pre-order in China on May 25 at Vmall and JD, sales start June 1.
