Yesterday, Gionee launched an affordable smartphone namely Steel 2 in the Steel series in China.
Gionee Steel 2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo 3.5 UI.
In the rear side of the device it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for selfie. It has also 3GB RAM, 16GB /32GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD and a fingerprint sensor on the front and comes with dedicated dual SIM slots.
The dimensions of the device are = 144.3×70.5×8.6mm, Weight: 160g and a huge 4000mAh battery that promises up to 45.45h of talk time, up to 7.94 hours of continuous video playback and up to 527.04h of standby. Connectivity wise the device features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
The Gionee Steel 2 comes in Gold and Black colors and starts 1299 yuan (US$ 188 / Rs. 12,810 approx.).
It is now available for order in China.
