Gionee the Chinese smartphone maker has announced the A1 and A1 Plus at MWC 2017. It launched Gionee A1 earlier this year and now it has the company’s latest smartphone in “A1 series’ called Gionee A1 Plus in India.
Gionee A1 Plus features a 6-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) 2.5D display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P25 processor. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Amigo 4.0.
In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a dual rear camera setup with 13-megapixel with autofocus, F2.0, 1/3.06 inches, 5P lens, flash and 5-megapixel. It features a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with fixed focus, F2.0, 1/2.8 inches, 5P lens, selfie flash. The front camera comes with Bokeh-Selfie Mode feature. The A1 Plus is also equipped with the fastest fingerprint sensor which claims to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
The smartphone comes with 4 GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable to 256GB via a micro SD card. Connectivity wise, the handset supports hybrid dual sim, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/A-GPS and a 4550 mAh battery with 18W ultrafast charging that can charge the device in 2 hours. The smartphone measures 166.4 x 83.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 226 grams.
Gionee A1 Plus comes in Gray, Mocha Gold colour options and it costs Rs 26,999. The phone will be available for sale across India retail stores from July 26.
