A budget 4G smartphone from General Mobile in the ‘Android One’ lineup in partnership with Google namely GM 6 has been announced at the Mobile world congress in Barcelona.
General Mobile GM 6 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) OnCell IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
In the rear side it has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, 1080p video recording and in the front side it has an 8MP camera with LED flash. It has also 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.
The handset equips with Single / Dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. Connectivity wise it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 3000mAh battery. The General Mobile GM 6 measures 144 x 71.3 x 8.6 mm, weight: 150g and comes in Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold colors, and will be available with Single and Dual SIM versions.
