Blu Vivo 8 launched with 4GB RAM and 16MP front camera

Blu US-based mobile manufacturer had launched Blu Vivo 5 Mini in December, 2016 and now it has announced another smartphone namely Blu Vivo 8 for the US market.

The Blu Vivo 8 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Curved Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

In the camera sections, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel PDAF autofocus camera with a SONY IMX 258 sensor, a 1/3 inch sensor with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with a LED flash here as well. The front camera features a f/2.0 aperture and a 1/3 inch sensor with 5P lens.

The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card. It also features metal body and also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button.

Connectivity wise the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, and a micro USB port and a 4010 mAh battery which can charge 100 percent in just 90 minutes.

The BLU Vivo 8 comes in Black and Gold colour options and it costs $299.99 (approximately Rs 19,200). It is available for purchase on Amazon.com in the US. Blu is offering its customers a discount of $100 between August 31st and September 1st at 11:59 pm EST, the Blu Vivo 8 will be priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs 12,799).
