Recently BlackBerry’s partner PT BB Merah Putih announced the BlackBerry Aurora in Indonesia. It is the first smartphone from Blackberry that has dual sim functionality and specifically designed to appeal to Indonesian customers and is made in Indonesia.
BlackBerry Aurora features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
It comes with 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera with dual-tone LED Flash and in the front side of the device it has an 8MP camera for selfie.
The handset measures 152 x 76.8 x 8.55mm; Weight: 178g. Connectivity wise it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and 3000mAh battery.
The BlackBerry Aurora comes in Gold, Silver and Black colors and it costs RP 34, 99,000 (US$ 260 / Rs. 17,476 approx.) in Indonesia. It will be available for pre-order till March 12, 2017.
