Asus ZenPad Z8s with 7.9-inch display, Android Nougat launched

US operator Verizon Wireless Verizon has added a new ASUS tablet called Asus ZenPad Z8s.

Asus ZenPad Z8s features a 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixel) IPS display and is powered by the 1.8 GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor (4x 1.4GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72), which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU.  The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system on top of which lies the ZenUI.

In the camera sections, Asus ZenPad Z8s offers an 8-megapixel rear camera on the rear, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The tablet comes with 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card.

The tablet features a unibody metal frame and weighs around 319 grams. Connectivity wise, the tablet offers 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C and 4,680 mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery powers this tablet which claims to offer usage time of up to 12 hours and 300 hours of standby time.

Asus ZenPad Z8s comes only in standard Gray colour and it costs is $250. The tablet is now available for purchase exclusively via US operator Verizon Wireless.
