A mysterious Asus Android smartphone dubbed as the Asus X015 has been certified by the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA. Asus X015 is speculated to be the successor of Zenfone Go 2 (X014D) that was launched two years ago.

The Asus X015D appears to be a midrange smartphone. The Asus X015D features a 5.5 inch 720p display and will be powered by an octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
In the camera sections, the phone offers a 13MP dual camera setup in the rear with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. In the front, the Asus X015D houses the fingerprint sensor. The phone will be available in two variants, 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The phone allows expansion of memory using a microSD card.
The device measures 154.5 x 76.6 x 8.85mm, the phone weighs 175g and a massive 4,850mAh battery.
